Video: Hack/Slash Annual Featuring The Suicide Girls, In Odd We Trust

Pulp Secret - Comics News and Reviews -- First up it's an early review of Hack/Slash Annual. This book hasn't been released yet, so this is your chance to get a first look. This novel features the Suicide Girls. Alex loves it and Justin agrees that you should definitely pick it up. Then we look at Dean Koontz' In Odd We Trust. Both Alex and Justin think this book is a good example of Manga written in a very American way. During the Speed Round we check out Blue Beetle #28, Joker's Asylum #1, The Boys #20, Punisher War Journal #21, The Atom #25. Then Stephanos writes in, "What are your favorite comic book fights?" Watch and see what their answers were. Be sure to watch The Stack three times a week, and send your comments and questions to tips@pulpsecret.com!

Video: Astonishing X-Men #25, Final Crisis #2, and Secret Invasion: Frontline #1

Pulp Secret - Comics News and Reviews -- Alex starts things off with a look at Astonishing X-Men #25. Pete was surprised by how much he liked Warren Ellis' new take on the title, but Alex has a few things to say about the characters. Then we look at Grant Morrison's second issue of Final Crisis. Pete has a funny review of the issue and Alex reminds us of the million dollar bet he has with Pete over the Final Crisis series. Next it's the debut issue of Secret Invasion: Frontline.

During the Speed Round we look at BPRD: The Ectoplasmic Man, Mythos: Captain America #1, Thunderbolts #121, Beyond #2, Project Superpowers #4. Then Jason writes in, "What comic book would you like to see re-made, and what team of artists would you pick?" Be sure to tune in to see what the guys answers were! Video: Runaways # 30, RASL # 2 and Secret Invasion Young Avengers Runaways

Pulp Secret - Comics News and Reviews -- Up first it's a review of Runaway's. Alex is sad that this issue is Joss Whedon's last, but didn't think this issue lived up to his expectations. Next it's RASL. The guys love Smith's new project but hate that the issues are released so infrequently. Then its the new comic Secret Invasion Young Avengers/Runaways.

The guys aren't sure about the non-traditional artwork of the book, love the story. During the Speed Round we look at Scalped #18, Ex Machina #37, Kill All Parents, Pilot Season: Genius #1, and Wolverine #66. Finishing off, Ian from Wisconsin writes in: Which Superhero have you always disliked? Alex, Justin, and Pete have some really good answers. Tune in to find out which superheros they hate the most.
